I signed up for the Indigenous Launchpad program thinking I’d pick up a few business tips and call it a day. Nope. Ended up sitting there realizing how naturally Indigenous values already fit into good business practices and honestly asking myself:
“Why the fuck aren’t all business practices like Indigenous practices?”- Kit Thomas, Akwesasne Mohawk
Seriously.
Community. Sustainability. Reciprocity. Thinking long term instead of chasing fast money and burnout culture. Wild concept apparently.
The program is long but worth it. Make the time. Each module had Indigenous faces walking you through real knowledge without making it feel corporate and robotic. Video. Quiz. Boom. Moving forward.
Finished the program, got my certificate, and left with way more knowledge than I expected walking in.
Shoutout to the Indigenous Prosperity Foundation for building programs that actually push Indigenous entrepreneurship forward instead of just talking about it.
