Let's Work Together.

A website for an eclectic two-spirit Haudenosaunee artist who is inspired by urban landscapes, graffiti, and traditional Iroquois artists. This is a space that celebrates the fusion of contemporary urban art with traditional indigenous influences. Through my art, I aim to tell stories of resilience, identity, and the vibrant pulse of city life. Welcome to my creative journey.

About Kit

Hi, I'm Kit. I'm a lifelong artist who has lived many lives. As a child, I lived in New Jersey. We visited NYC often and I was first inspired by graffiti, urban art, and eventually Basquiat.

Later I pursued an education in Graphic Design at Pratt University in New York.

After Pratt, I chased my dreams and traveled to California. It was there that I honed my performance style and developed something unique.

In 2019, I moved back to New York to be with my family. Since moving back I've been able to focus on my art and develop community. My art centers on living my truths, sharing how I overcame obstacles, and sharing my experience with viewers.

You can find me at gallery shows, art festivals, and various other events.

Testimonials.

Recently had the privilege of seeing one of Kit Thomas' pieces, Dreamscape, in an exhibit in upstate NY. My partner and I were so moved, we took in the subjects' expressions for quite a while, tears streaming down our faces. I've never felt so connected with a piece before. It's been a delight to get to connect with Kit, who is a powerful community leader as well as a spectacular artist. Excited to continue following their work going forward.
