Sweetgrass Braid is an original 24" × 24" mixed media artwork created on found paper using gesso, Sharpie, pen, and alcohol markers, finished with a protective sealant.
Created during the same period as my reflections in Mohawk Artist: Reconnecting Through Ancestral Creativity, this piece explores the quiet relationship between returning home to the "REZ".
